Our last day in Florida we visited the Canaveral National Seashore. We spent a lot of the day on the beach walking and looking at shells but also had time to walk a few of the trails and they were AMAZING. I would love to go back someday with husband…maybe during the time that the turtles hatch! The rangers give guided tours during the time they are hatching, wouldn’t that be awesome to see?! I think there were four different kinds of turtles that nest along the beach there. We had debated going because it was about a 90 minute drive but we were all so glad we did it! If you are ever in the area, it is a MUST to visit! You can also see the launch area of Canaveral Space whatever it’s called if you are into that kind of thing! A really neat area I must say.
