This week has been SO exciting at the farm – we are finally to the point where we are putting things back together and it looks like a house again!
We have had such an amazing group of people helping us with this project and I wanted to give a shout out to our little helpers!
Skippy John Jones had a blast during the demo – he really put some sweat into the work and was awesome at taking down the sheetrock. He also survived me accidentally hitting him in the face with a hammer – luckily he wasn’t hurt and his safety glasses took the brunt of the hit. :) Safety first people!
We also had some help from the nieces – help with important things like looking cute. :)
Bob was so busy helping that we had to get her outfitted with a toolbelt – she helped me scrape the floor in the entry and assisted with many other tasks like petting the fake deer.
Wren is not one to be left out of the fun and she also helped out for the afternoon – cleaning up, sorting things, climbing the ladder, riding the fake deer…all very specialized jobs you know.
So thanks to all the little helpers we have had – and of course to the big helpers too! I am SO grateful to everybody who has pitched in-no matter the amount of help, it is all appreciated!
HVAC, windows, soffits, electrical should all be finished up today and the sheetrocking will begin middle of next week! The excitement is thick – I cannot wait to live out there!
