Down to my last glue stick

Standard

Happy President’s Day everybody!

I can’t think of a better way to spend a day off than having a crafternoon. I have been busy doing some stash busting and have to take a break for a bit because I am indeed, down to my last glue stick. It amazes me how much we use a hot glue gun around here – between husband and I we have it out at least once a week. How do people live without one? I really don’t know!

So, the craft I decided to do today was big crazy flower bracelets. A while back I had bought a some fun pink plastic cups with the intention of crafting with them. I also have a stash of paper towel and toilet paper tubes I used along with some left over yarn from a pillow, acrylic paint, and some elastic from my sewing stash. Oh, and beads or rhinestones for the middle of the flower. Here is a quick tutorial on how to make them yourselves!

So there it is, my first ever tutorial. What do you think? Ready to do some stash-busting of your own? It really is quite fun – I think I’m going to try some more bracelets out of cardboard tubes…wish me luck!
